Frequently asked questions
Honest answers about how I work.
Are you a doctor, nutritionist, dietitian or counsellor?
No. I'm a coach with lived experience of fertility treatment. I don't give medical, nutritional or clinical advice, and I'll signpost you to your clinic, an HCPC-registered dietitian or a BICA fertility counsellor where that's right for you.
Will working with you improve my chances of getting pregnant?
I can't promise that, and no honest coach can. What I offer is emotional support, practical structure and lived-experience guidance to help you feel less overwhelmed and more supported through the process.
Who is this for?
Anyone preparing for or going through fertility treatment, living with pregnancy loss, or considering donor conception or solo motherhood. You don't need to be a solo parent.
Do you work in Arabic?
Yes. I support clients in English and Arabic.
How are sessions delivered, and when?
By private video call, so you can join from anywhere: London-based, online worldwide. Sessions run on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, UK time.
How does message support work?
Each programme includes a clearly defined message-support window, shown on the Coaching page. Messages are answered on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, within one working day. It isn't an emergency service.
What if I need to reschedule?
Give at least 48 hours' notice and we'll find a new time. Full details are in the Terms.
Is the Kitchen part of the coaching?
No. The Kitchen is a separate space where I share healthy, balanced, comforting recipes I enjoy cooking. It's about enjoying food during treatment, not about fertility results.
Can you support me once I become pregnant?
Yes. I offer emotional and practical support throughout pregnancy, particularly after IVF, previous loss or solo conception.
Can you advise me about pregnancy complications or medication?
No. Any medical concerns, medication, blood pressure, scans or complications must always be managed by your midwife, obstetrician or medical team.
Can you support me as a first-time mother?
Yes. First-time motherhood can feel overwhelming, especially after a long fertility journey. I can support you emotionally and practically as you prepare for your baby and adjust to early motherhood.
Can you help me prepare for having a baby on my own?
Yes. I can support you with practical preparation, building a support network, preparing for birth, newborn essentials and planning for the first weeks at home.
What if I'm in crisis?
Coaching isn't a crisis service. Contact your GP, call NHS 111, or call Samaritans free on 116 123. In an emergency, call 999.
